As Cerner Corporation’s first marketing director, Brent was instrumental in launching a number of software products to support the electronic medical record, including Pharmacy, Radiology, Nursing, Decision Support, Surgery and Pathology systems. His support of sales growth included involvement with Boston Children’s Hospital, Dartmouth Mary-Hitchcock Hospital, and The Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.

When Brent led brand development for Sprint Corporation’s $5B business division, he pioneered e-commerce strategies for the company, including the launch of the original Sprint.com. His involvement in sponsorships of the NFL and U.S. Ski Team were reflected in major national brand advertising campaigns for the company. He also worked on the brand strategy team that launched GlobalOne, an international telecommunications joint venture between France Télécom,Deutsche Telekom and Sprint Corporation.

As the Vice President of Strategy & Client Services for an Omnicom-owned company, Brent worked with a number of well-known brands, including: 3M, Motorola, Allstate, Unilever, Sirius Satellite Radio, Sprint, and P&G. Brent operated a private strategy and consulting practice for eight years, working on such brands as Pennzoil, AT&T Wireless, H&R Block,NEC America and Niemen Marcus. In his role as strategic advisor, Brent has been involved in a number of M&A activities.

In addition to undergraduate studies at Missouri University and a B.A. in Theology from Calvary Seminary, Brent also has completed post-graduate studies in programs by Northwestern University and SMU’s Cox School of Business.
