Fred’s career has spanned law, engineering, business management and financial services.

While in the construction industry as a project manager with Hensel Phelps he developed a deep understanding of and passion for all facets of the construction industry and the engineering and architectural professions.

​

While Vice President and General Counsel for Liberty Sports, the predecessor to Fox Sport Networks, Fred was an integral part of their growth strategy, which included launching new sports events and making strategic acquisitions.

​

As the Vice President and General Counsel of the publicly traded software development and graphic design agency, Eagle River Interactive, Fred was responsible for all legal matters and was key in driving high organic growth and growth by acquisition. Fred was instrumental in acquiring seven domestic and international companies in a period of 18 months.

​

Fred has provided mergers and acquisitions advisory services over the last 15 years, advising on transactions across multiple industries, representing both buyers and sellers of businesses.

​

Fred has testified before the United States Senate Commerce Committee, at the request of United States Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.

​

Fred has appeared multiple times on national television as a guest of Anderson Cooper (CNN), Kyra Phillips (CNN), Sean Hannity (Fox), Bryan Williams (Fox), and Margaret Brennan (Bloomberg).

Fred has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law. Fred no longer practices law but remains in good standing with both the Mississippi and Colorado Bar Associations.
